Welcome to our Website.

As Churches we aim to be at the heart of the community participating in all aspects of the life here. From within the community we reach out and engage with the whole of God's world. In our Services we welcome all ages in Church. We meet together as the people of God.

ALTAR SERVERS

At one of our services last November Catharine spoke about all the contributions we make to our church life and services. One of these is Altar Server. This job probably goes un-noticed but we were grateful to the small team who carried out this important role. Unfortunately, our situation has changed and we now only have one person able to regularly commit to this job.

What is it? Well it’s a bit like being a housekeeper. It involves getting everything ready on the altar for our communion services, assisting the priest during the service and washing up and clearing away afterwards.

Is this something you could do? We need to recruit a few more servers - no age restrictions, uniform supplied, full training given! Here is Charlotte after a service clearing the altar.

Contact Sheila George for more details (677553).
